ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Groups And Format
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule for the ninth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to take place in Bangladesh from October 3rd to October 20th.
With ten teams, twenty-three matches, and the promise of high-energy cricket, the tournament is a must-see for cricket lovers all over the world.
Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Groups And Format
In the event, each team will play four preliminary-round matches. The top two squads from each cluster will then continue to the extremely tough semi-finals, which are planned for the 17th and 18th of October, culminating in the grand finale in Dhaka on the 20th of October. Here are the groups.
Group A: includes Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
The event will feature 23 contests over 19 days in Dhaka and Sylhet. Reserve days have been scheduled for the semi-finals and final to enable continued play in the event of any disruptions.
