Papua New Guinea Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Fixtures, Dates, Venues
Papua New Guinea will compete in an ICC T20 World Cup 2024 for the second time. They competed in the 2021 tournament and lost all three matches. However, they were unable to qualify for Australia’s 2022 edition. They have now qualified for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 via the East Asia-Pacific Qualifier. There were four teams, and they won the competition, becoming the 15th team to qualify for the upcoming tournament.
Papua New Guinea will face West Indies in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Papua New Guinea will face the West Indies in their first game on June 2 in Guyana. Following a two-day break, they will play Uganda in their second game at the same location. Their third game against Afghanistan is slated for June 13 in Trinidad. Papua New Guinea’s last group match will be against New Zealand in Trinidad on June 17. Though Papua New Guinea appears to have a difficult path to the Super 8, nothing can be said because T20 cricket is an unpredictable game. As a result, they will make every effort to succeed.
