Sri Lanka squad for T20 Cricket World Cup 2024: Complete Players List of Sri Lanka Team For T20 World Cup 2024
In preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Sri Lanka has revealed their 15-man squad. With a number of bright and experienced players, the team was approved by the distinguished Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Angelo Mathews, an experienced batsman, will be on the team. Having participated in Sri Lanka’s championship run in 2014, this will be his sixth appearance in the T20 World Cup. Dasun Shanaka, the former limited-overs captain, brings additional leadership with current captains Kusal Mendis (ODI Captain) and Dhananjaya de Silva (Test Captain).
Wanindu Hasaranga, a powerful all-round player, will be leading the charge. Hasaranga is a key component of Sri Lanka’s strategy because of his aggressive spin bowling and power hitting at the lower end of the order.
