Ireland Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Matches, Dates, Venues

The ICC has announced the schedule for the Men’s ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which will feature Ireland in Group A alongside cricket powerhouses India and Pakistan, as well as the host nation USA and Canada. This year’s T20 World Cup has a new format, with 20 teams divided into four groups of five each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight stage, which will then be divided into two four-team groups. The event will climax with the semi-finals and the ultimate battle set for June 29th.

Ireland will kick-off their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against India on 5th June, 2024.

4. Ireland vs Pakistan, Central Broward Park, June 16, Florida

Ireland, a consistent participant since their T20 World Cup debut in 2009, secured their spot by a strong performance in the European qualifiers, finishing second with four victories in six games. Despite a reputation for delivering upsets, the European team has yet to go beyond the group round and into the Super 8 of the competition.

All of Ireland’s matches are scheduled to be played in the United States. To proceed to the Super 8 round, Ireland must finish in the top two in the Group A points table. If victorious, they will continue their quest for T20 World Cup finals.
