West Indies vs Uganda Match Schedule For T20 World Cup 2024
The upcoming ICC event is just a month away. The mega event’s co-host West Indies will compete in four group stage matches against Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Uganda, and Afghanistan. The West Indies will start as favorites against PNG and Uganda.
The West Indies, who were unable to qualify for the main round of the previous edition in Australia, will host the upcoming event by default. The Caribbean team is quite good at home and will fancy their chances. They are one of just two teams in history to have won the ICC T20 World Cup twice.
This will be Uganda’s first appearance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. They will be making their competitive debut. Uganda became the 20th team to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. They qualified in the Africa Regional Qualifier 2023.
Uganda advanced through the qualifiers by defeating teams such as Zimbabwe and Kenya, indicating that they will not be easy opponents for the other countries.
